We surprised a few OtherWorld fans when we decided to move from Sydney to Queensland! We now have our OtherWorld Fashion HQ on Bribie Island! We must admit we’re enjoying the sea change, even though we will always love Sydney and the colourful people there!
There is a huge alternative scene in Brisbane and lots of events! (More on the latest event we attended below.)Here, the sand is white, the ocean is warm, and we have a large space for more inventory! We have a dedicated FASHION ROOM where you can stop by and do some in-person shopping! Valerie, our mannequin, and Peter, our headless torso will be here to greet you!
Speaking of expanding our inventory, we are adding additional lines to our collections and many more diverse pieces. More amazing gothic coats from Punk Rave, more styles of rockabilly dresses from Hearts and Roses, and some incredible Steampunk pieces from RQ-BL. Check out the very detailed Very Timely Steampunk Clock Belt. It is absolutely a work of art!
Brisbane BLP Alternative Market Day!
Last weekend, OtherWorld Fashion made its Brisbane debut at the Brisbane Leather Pride Alternative Markets! It was a great day and our fashions were flying out the door! Brisbinites were out in full force and loved our styles. The Vampirella coat was a huge hit and we sold out completely of our market inventory (luckily, we still have a few left in stock!). Cleopatra’s Collar was also very popular.
A lot of men-types were so excited to see we had lots of offerings for men of all ages and sizes! Some of our pants go up to 3X, and some of our shirts go to 4X. So, if you are a bigger guy, we have the Plus-size men’s alternative clothing that is so hard for you to find!
We made many friends and the organisers did a wonderful job. We will BE BACK!
