The Crimson Rose Masquerade Ball is the event of the Vampire social calendar; a spectacular event that Vampires from all around are invited to attend!
Proudly donating to Hummingbird House, this Brisbane event is being held at Cloudland in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, on August 10th 2024, and is exactly the excuse you need to get out your finest formal outfits and take to the dance floor!
Do I need tickets to attend the Crimson Rose Masquerade Ball?
Yes, tickets are essential to secure your place on the guest list! These tickets ensure you are able to get into the event and have a night to remember! Starting at 7pm and running til late, you'll want to get in quick to grab a ticket and get in on the fun!
What is the dress code of the ball?
With the venue also having a fairly strict dress code in place, sticking with the following rules will help ensure you are not denied entry on the night. Vampire themed, everyone is excited to see your ball gowns, corsets, tuxedo and tails, fangs, Victorian and Edwardian, and other Vamp themed outfits! However, please keep in mind that the following are not allowed at the venue:
- Street wear, Sportswear, or Superhero costumes
- No Nazi or Fascist uniforms or allusions
- No nudity (sexy outfits are, of course, welcome and supported!)
- Un-soled shoes- you must wear soled footwear
For our tattooed vampire guests, please rest assured that while Cloudland is known for its strict no hand or face tattoo policy, this private event is not policed the same way. If you do rock a face tat and are concerned, please feel free to contact the event coordinators to confirm. This will help to avoid any entry issues on the night (not that there is expected to be!)
What will it be like inside the event?
With stalls, performances, canapes, and a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available, there will be more than a few enticing attractions for you to sink your fangs into! Enjoy entertainment from Frenchie Darling, Malakeh, Sellma Soul, and Lilith Revere, as well as a DJ at the end of the night and other special moments! From psychic readings and photo booths, there won't be a dull moment at this party! Some key moments to look forward to include:

- Various photo booths, including a casual one and a staged professional photographer booths
