My first impression trying on this dress is that it is SUBSTANTIAL and good quality. What I mean is that it is NOT some lightweight flimsy material; this is a dress that will last for years and through all your shenanigans.The plaid (tartan) bodice is decorated with leatherette strips that run up the front to become your shoulder straps. These straps are adjustable buckles. Lace and leatherette crisscrosses adorn the front and back which is also ruched for the perfect fit around your back. The 3-layered skirt finishes off this fabulous piece with a lightweight polyester layer over a netted layer over a soft satin feel layer trimmed with lace, so the soft layer is next to your skin.

Bonus detachable corset belt has a real purse pocket attached. Leatherette with a metal buckle keeps your goodies secure.
