Costumed Life Drawing - Steampunk Edition

Ideal for artistic Steampunk fans, this night hosted by Et Al Gallery is a fun excuse to channel your Steampunk love and create something beautiful! With two Steampunk outfit-wearing models ready to pose for you, this is a great way to enjoy learning how to draw models in clothing and accessories. All you need to bring is your sketchbook and drawing implements such as pencils, charcoal, erasers, sharpeners, and you’ll be ready to go!

SteamFest Tasmania

Steeped in history, Steamfest Sheffield is a fun, educational event that you don’t want to miss! Filled with beautiful steam engine trains, this long weekend event is perfect for wearing your Steampunk outfits and exploring the wonders of the steam powered world! With activities, stalls, and so much more on offer, it is no surprise how popular and beloved this annual event is! Wimmera Steampunk Festival

Once again presented by the Dimboola Imaginarium, this awesome festival has become a firm favourite with each passing year! At the Wommera Steampunk Festival, expect night market filled with food stalls, live bands playing cool music, amazing short films, cool exhibitions to explore, popular acts, and much more!

HUNTER VALLEY STEAMFEST

From market stalls and fantastic live entertainment to vintage diesel rides, the annual Hunter Valley Steamfest is an opportunity to celebrate the history of steam and industry in this beautiful and historic region. Whether steam train rides are your thing, or you’d prefer any of the array of activities set to take place over the weekend, the 37th Annual Steamfest is always a memorable event!

For Steampunk lovers, this weekend is a fun excuse to get into your best look and blow everyone away! Costumes are not only encouraged but celebrated; enjoy this chance to parade your favourite Steampunk outfit and bask in some wholesome vintage fun!

STEAMPUNK @ ALTITUDE

The most popular Steampunk annual event in NSW is back! Known as a very friendly and welcoming community, Steampunk @ Altitude is a celebration of all things Steampunk style! With everyone attending encouraged to dress up in their best Steampunk costume and show off their unique style, there are fantastic markets, live bands, and fun games for all to enjoy!

BRISBANE GOTHIC AND ALTERNATIVE PICNIC

A staple for Brisbane and surrounding area Goth, Lolita, Steampunk, Rockabilly and Alternative style lovers, this picnic is the annual event of the season! Family friendly of course and with the usual prizes on offer for the two best dresses attendees, this absolutely amazing picnic is a chance to catch up with friends both new and old!

Make your mark in your finest outfit and bring a picnic basket to enjoy a sunny afternoon with like-minded people in lovely Brisbane! You will need to register to receive your wristband for the Brisbane Gothic and Alternative Picnic, and please remember your own chairs, blankets, and assorted picnic items such as cutlery. 

ABBEY MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL

Tickets available closer to event dates One of the Moreton Bay region’s gems, the Abbey Medieval Festival is an annual event that includes not only fully costumed reenactors and amazing performances, but also great food and popular stallholders selling their gorgeous handmade items!

Any who attend are encouraged to dress in their favourite Steampunk, Medieval, and alternative costumes, which makes this festival both educational and fun for all ages! Dedicated reenactors showcase history while demonstrators show off their crafts, brave acts of swordsmanship, fun jousting events, weaponry making displays, and much more!
